To address some of healthcare’s biggest challenges, Neelyx Labs uses innovative technologies to provide customized solutions for creating and validating molecular and genetic diagnostics for clinicians, institutions, and biotech companies.
Our newly designed, high-complexity CLIA-certified molecular laboratory has the capability to effectively scale for fast, accurate, precise genetic and molecular assay processing. We develop new therapeutics by utilizing breakthrough biotechnology and unique in-house expertise in clinical protocol development, clinical studies, and regulatory navigation.
We are known for our key specialties in PCR and NGS, but we have wide-ranging expertise in areas such as technologies, molecular diagnostics, biochemistry, microbiology, and genomics.

From its origins, Neelyx Labs has prioritized and provided community care directly from its location in the Chicagoland area as well as through 15+ partner organizations across the United States.
Since opening in the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic in December 2020, we have performed over 1 million tests- all while maintaining a no-cost policy for patients.
We also partner with local, regional, and national diagnostic lab partners to serve communities’ diagnostic needs by providing development support, clinical expertise, and IT infrastructure.

OpenSeq COVID-19 Variant NGS Test
Neelyx Labs offers the OpenSeq COVID-19 Variant NGS Test to identify which COVID-19 lineage and specific variants a patient has.
There are a multitude of therapeutics available for COVID-19 infection, and NGS testing results can help a physician choose the best option for a patient based on the particular COVID-19 variant present.
We have the capability to provide this information to all patients who test positive for COVID-19 on an RT-PCR test.
Neelyx Labs uses cutting-edge, whole-genome, deep sequencing on the Oxford Nanopore platform to provide COVID-19 Variant NGS Testing.
This test was developed within our own laboratory by our team of innovative senior scientists. We are open to laboratory partnership opportunities that involve further utilizing Next Generation Sequencing for additional clinical diagnostic solutions. We have the capacity to develop and execute these testing solutions in-house.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Labs have competitive prices out there but Neelyx's is reasonable. Had to have my dad get a pcr test for his travel. I sent them an email to set an appointment & also ask questions & they were quick to respond! Staff was very patient and pleasant at the time of appointment. Results were fast! Received it through email & staff was very accommodating that in case my dad's information was ever entered wrong, to call them so they can fix it. A very satisfied customer here. Don't waste your time looking for other labs, give Neelyx a call and you won't regret it.

I was really scared to get tested for international travel, but since I didn’t had an option I went for Neelyx labs as they test sputum instead of poking your nose 😂 Moreover, we got our 1.5yrs also tested which was not possible at most testing centres. Neelyx lab executives were so friendly and made the sample collection experience so easy that all our anxieties entering a facility where potentially COVID positive patients visit were gone. Results were sent to us within 24 hours around 10.30PM the same day (now that shows the dedication of people working at this lab). Would recommend to anyone who has a potential exposure or want testing for pre-travel requirements.
